This is the Rocklin Rocket approaching the end (for southbound trains) of the Valley Subdivision.

This intermodal is quickly approaching the Yosemite Street crossing on main track two of the Roseville Subdivision.

By the time the mid-train DPU arrived, the intermodal (previous photo) must have been going pretty close to its speed limit, which could be as high as forty miles per hour on this stretch of track.

One of the newer Siemens locomotives is pushing Capitol Corridor 538 eastward toward its next stop in Rocklin.
