Due to a landslide in Colorado this train which was Amtrak six of January 2, 2023 out of Emeryville, CA was terminated in Green River, UT and came back as Amtrak five of January 2, 2023 out of Chigago, IL. The original Amtrak five out of Chigago was terminated in Grand Junction, CO and sent back to Chigago as Amtak six out of Emeryville. Presumably the passengers were bused around the landslide so that they could swap trains. Note that the car behind the engines is a coach which is normally at the end of the train on the California Zephyr. The baggage car was bringing up the rear.
